With over 15 years of experience building iOS apps, Jakob created Room Scanner to put professional-grade floor planning in everyone's pocket — using the LiDAR sensor in modern iPhone and iPad Pro devices to turn a quick walk around a room into an accurate 2D floor plan and 3D model. He personally tests Room Scanner's scanning accuracy against real rooms so the results are reliable enough for renovations, real-estate listings, and contractor site surveys.
